Principle

Auto-Events web site is a collection of calendars showing Automotive related events over a 1-2 years span.

Visitors can search through this information to find an event in their own location or country which they may wish to attend or make a note of.

Content

There are three main Categories

• Body shop
• CV
• Car

Within these categories, there are calendars for three event types.

• Trade shows
• Product releases
• Training courses

Membership

Visitors

• General visitors to the site can view only the Trade Show events in each category.
• There is no signup process required and the access is therefore free to visitors.

Members

• Members can sign-up for an annual fee of £10. This gives access to all calendars in particular those giving details of product releases and training courses.
• Members receive a username/password access code.
• Members can receive email circulation when new events are added.

Sponsors

• Sponsors are also Members. They can sign-up for an annual fee of £50.
• This gives access to all calendars in particular those giving details of product releases and training courses.
  
• Sponsors get a listing on the front page allowing use of their own logo/image.

Additionally, Sponsors can create and edit their own input to the calendars. This allows:

• Creation of product release information ahead of release date
• Creation of training time-tables.
• Creation of special trade shows and trade events for their own products.

Sponsors receive a username/password access code unique to themselves.

Admin

• This group has input, edit and delete control of all calendars.
• The Admin group also input dates to the Trade Show event calendars.
• The Admin group can also input training and product release dates on behalf of Sponsors at an agreed cost.
